Paper Guidelines

The initial draft of your paper should  be emailed to complex-process@chemail.tamu.edu. 

 The review process is currently underway.  Papers will be returned to the corresponding author for revision, with the final paper due back on January 10, 2005.  A number of papers will also be selected for publication in Computers and Chemical Engineering published by Elsevier. 

We remind you that the final paper text must be submitted in English, electronic format compatible with MS Word.  Text should be Times New Roman in 11-12 point fonts, US Letter size, with 1 inch margins.  There are no minimum or maximum page requirements. 

At least one of the paper authors must register before the paper is included in the final program and the proceedings.  Respective deadline is January 10, 2005.


Lectures 

Oral Presentation.  The lectures will be 20 minutes in length, followed by 5 minutes of discussion.  The lecture rooms will be equipped with LCD projectors and laptop computers.  Please bring your presentation on CD-R,  or USB drive in Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF format for IBM compatible computers.  The  presentation should be emailed to complex-process@chemail.tamu.edu, no later than February 1, 2005. 

Poster Guidelines 

Posters will be exhibited during the entire Symposium. Due to the number of posters, tables, chairs, internet and electrical hookup will not be provided.  Poster should be emailed to complex-process@chemail.tamu.edu, no later than December 1, 2004 for inclusion in the Symposium proceedings.

Posters will be exhibited during the entire Symposium, however, poster authors should be with their posters during the main showing, 12:00 - 1:45PM on March 2.  Poster should be emailed to donnas@tamu.edu, no later than December 1, 2004 for inclusion in the Symposium proceedings.

Authors will be assigned a poster board in the designated area. Posters can be put up beginning Wednesday morning, March 2, at 7AM. The posters must be taken down after the Symposium  concludes Thursday evening.  

The poster must be brought with you to the Symposium.  Use lightweight materials (not cardboard). Pushpins must be able to hold them when mounted to the poster board. Pushpins will be provided. Display materials should fit within a 36 inch by 36 inch area of the poster board. Posters must be prepared in English.

Tables, chairs, internet and electrical hookup will not be provided.

PAPER

Should you choose to include a paper with your poster for publication in the Symposium proceedings, the initial draft should be emailed to donnas@tamu.edu as soon as possible (Sept. 1).  The review process is currently underway.   Reviews of the papers will be returned to the corresponding author for revision as needed.

  • Test the readability of your display before you arrive at the meeting.
